Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is coming to Dang today to participate in the
convocation ceremony of Nepal Sanskrit University.
A team including Prime Minister Prachanda and Minister of Education, Science and Technology
Ashok Kumar Rai is about to come to Dang to participate in the fifth convocation ceremony to be
held at the central office premises of the university in Beljhundi.
Under the chairmanship of Chancellor of the University and Prime Minister Dahal and the chief
hospitality of Prof. Hareram Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University,
Varanasi, the convocation program has been fixed at 11:30 this morning.
In the convocation ceremony to be held after 12 years, 575 students are scheduled
to be initiated. Yadav Prakash Lamichhane informed.
He said that 62 students will be honored with gold medals at the ceremony.
In the program, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will deliver the
convocation address.
The convocation ceremony had not been held in the university since 2068.
From the academic session 2067 to 2077, 575 of the 4,773 students
who had passed the Vidyavaridhi, Acharya, Shastri, Ayurveda graduates,
and one-year pedagogy passed the initiation exam.
